Sleeping Angels

Had a wonderful day off work today! Jesse had the day off school cause he had a headache, which cleared up by about 10.00??? So anyway, Jesse, Hollie, Mum and I went up town to do the banking, and I bought this fantastic pair of shoes for only $20 on SALE. We then went and got an ice cream from next door to Infamous (the best home made ice creams in the world). After doing a lap of the beaches I dropped mum off and took the kids home for an afternoon rest which consisted of Jesse and Hollie watching downhill mountain biking on TV and me lying in bed watching Oprah!! When Benn got home we all got ready to pick up Jorja from school and the headed to Toorbul (just near Caboolture) to see Andi's brand spanking new Gooseneck. For those who don't know what that is....It is a massive horse trailer with a living area at the front, that stretches over the back of the ute that toes it. Does that make sense? Benn is going to do the electrical fit out in it, he hasn't done one before so it will be a learning experience. We stayed there for a sausage sizzle and a few drinks, and we were all snug in bed by 9.00pm. From the picture below you can see the kids didnt make it home before falling asleep.

Last Day of Holidays

Today is the last day of the school holidays. I have one of Jorjas friends over for the day, and Jesse is cruising the 'hood' with his posse of friends. I have spent all day cleaning so I am hoping for a quick ride this arvo. My friend (where my horse is kept) has just had 5pd baby girl, so of course I have gone totally clucky, but there is a difference this time. I have no want for another one of my own???? Yep, the old brood mare has had enough!

I have to post this photo of Benn, especially for Angus. Benn was given this new fan-dangle armor for down hill riding, and still has not shown Angus what it looks like, on. So on behalf of Benn..."Thanks Angus, its the best 30th birthday present ever!!!"


Tim and Tamara came over for a BBQ las night which was lovely. Seth is growing up so big, and is looking more and more like Tim. Here is a picture of him, taken last night.


Must go and enjoy our last day of holidays...
